The Carnival of Madness Tour came to the Summer Stage at Tag’s on September 9th.

This concert was awesome under the circumstances…The band line-up was supposed to be: Emphatic, Adelitas Way, Black Stone Cherry, Alter Bridge and Theory of a Deadman.

However due to Hurricane Irene only Alter Bridge and Theory of Deadman made it to our little burg. The other bands were  stuck somewhere in between.

The cool dudes that they are, Theory of a Deadman and Alter Bridge played longer sets, about an hour and a half each.

Alter Bridge played all their hits from “Isolation” to “Rise Today” to “Broken Wings.” They even covered a Gun’s N Roses song.

Theory of a Deadman played all their hits too including “Hate My life,” Not Meant to Be,”  covered Eric Clapton’s “Cocaine,” and ended the show with fan favorite, “Bad Girlfriend.”

Although it was a bummer to not have the other bands make it, being a big fan of heavy metal and hard rock music I still  had a great time. Both bands did a kick-ass job rocking out Big Flats, NY.

Thanks Alter Bridge and Theory of a Deadman for making up for the absence of Emphatic, Adelitas Way, and Black Stone Cherry.
